THE RANG-RANGS - KUINGIN BERSAMAMU
This song marks the debut single from The Rang-Rangs, also The Rang-Rangs' first music video directed by Jimi Multhazam and Agung Hartamurti as Director of Photography and Editor. It tells the story of a guy trying to impress the girl of his dreams, but he’s stuck figuring out what song would be perfect for her. Instead of picking something complicated like a John Mayer track, The Rang-Rangs decided to create a simple anthem of their own.
The process behind it was just as simpl. We recorded footage of Avindy attending Superbad!, a monthly gig held at The Jaya Pub. On another day, we filmed The Rang-Rangs at the same venue. We only ordered one glass of beer for the three of us, and used a sneaky little trick: syncing the lip movements to the track by plugging in a single earphone, since we didn’t have a Bluetooth speaker.
And honestly, what would it even feel like bringing a Bluetooth speaker to The Jaya Pub during a live performance? Totally absurd, right? Earphones it is!
