Agung Hartamurti is a prolific video editor, photographer, and videographer based in Jakarta. With years of experience in the media, marketing, and advertising industries, he's worked on a wide range of commercial projects, yet it's his signature black-and-white visual style that truly stands out. His work is known for its raw texture, spontaneity, and a touch of humor, often turning everyday moments into unique, easy-to-digest visual stories.
Agung's creative journey started with something close to his heart: music. Over the years, he's had the chance to collaborate with some of his favorite bands, like The Upstairs, Morfem, Goodnight Electric, White Shoes & The Couples Company, and Seringai. He's also worked across disciplines with artists and collectives like Ruangrupa and Naufal Abshar.
In 2009, he started IROCKUMENTARY.CLUB, a music photography website that grew into a platform showcasing works from contributors all over Indonesia and beyond, running actively until 2020.
Today, Agung is part of the team at Studio1212, a creative consulting firm working with both established and emerging brands globally. He also contributes to Whiteboard Journal, an online publication that highlights people, culture, and ideas through fresh and progressive content.
Whether through photo or video, Agung continues to explore stories that feel real and relatable, while staying open to collaborations accross creative fields.
